Facebook Is Not Collecting Unpublished Posts

Facebook has all the data that we share, and a couple of facebook users think the company collects their unpublished post and comments. Online activism group Care2 claims that Facebook reads their unpublished posts and disabling the posts from draft inbox.

Facebook has become a crucial tool for activism and the social media platform allows activists to connect and communicate with each other in order to arrange meeting and boykots. But, Facebook has been disabling pages related to activism and meetings. In addition to that, the pages are being deleted completely.

Facebook personnel explained that the boycott pages didn’t meet the Terms of Service. In addition, Facebook doesn’t allow blaming the companies or people that is related to the activist page. But on the contrary online petition webpage Care2 doesn’t accept the claims.

Care2 says they have more than 27.000 signatures from people who think that Facebook reads their unposted thoughts. The group says facebook reads unposted comments, posts, and status updates and delete before they share.

Facebook has self-censorship? Nobody is sure but in the study which was examined 3.9 million Facebook users and found that 71 % of them self-censored at least once. It appears Facebook identifies some people or activist group and disabling their posts and pages.
