Apple Acquired Camera App Developer SnappyLabs

Apple has lots of patent applications for its iPhone and iPad smart gadgets and the number is getting more. Apple also acquires new startup tech firms which is important for its strategy. Well Apple has gained the one-man photo tech company SnappyLabs.



After this buying Apple will add new features its camera. SnappyLabs, maker of SnappyCam and this startup was founded by John Papandriopoulos who is an elektrical engineer. John invented an application which can take full-resolution photos at 20 – 30 frames per second.


This application is faster than Apple’s native iPhone camera, so Apple got eye on it and decided to buy the company with its application SnappyCam. After this buying, SnappyCam had disappeared from the App Store and its website was shut down.


Apple has not comfirmed the acquisiton yet but it will response to the rumors. As you know, startup companies is so famous now and there are lots of startup companies who try to improve better applications. But, big companies such as Apple, Microsoft, Google immediately buy these startups.


Apple’s strategy is to buy smaller companies which can improve better application that is suitable its company policy and its products such as iPhone and iPad’s. After buying, Apple is trying to blend the startups to its cores.

Apple bugün yaptığı duyuruyla yeni bilgisayarı Mac Pro’yu yarın satışa sunuyor. İnternet üzerinden satışların başlamasının ardından kısa bir süre sonra Mac Pro’lar mağazalarda yerini alacak.
